A.K.S. has been established in 1991 with the philosophy of high quality production and better services to its customers and with 100% of Turkish Capital. At the time of establishment, know-how support of Chugai Electric Co.,JAPAN –one of the largest contact manufacturers in the world- has been provided and the latest technology has been brought to Turkey.

Thanks to shareholders' experience in production of silver contacts coming from early 1980's and the investments made, A.K.S. has became the largest manufacturer in Turkey and Middle East, supplying a wide range of components for the electrical contact industry.

The plant with over 2000sqm closed area in Pendik-İSTANBUL produces and assembles 475 Millions pieces of contacts and terminals a year.

A.K.S. exports 40% of its production and the components produced by A.K.S. are being used by many of the world-wide home appliances, automotive, indoor electrical components and electro-mechanical control systems manufacturers.

Beside contacts, terminals are also produced in A.K.S.'s plant and presses between 10 and 60 tonnes are available. Our tooling workshop is fully equipped to design the tools for our production and we are also able to use our customers' present moulds for the terminals.

Contacts and terminals are assembled at our assembling department by riveting.

Our packaging department carefully packs our products which are ready to be shipped in order to prevent any exterior effects during the transportation and to assure the delivery of the goods just as they leave our factory.

Having TS EN ISO 9001 Quality Certificate; input, process and product quality controls are strictly executed by our Quality Control Department in order to fulfil the customers' requirements in the allowed tolerance ranges.

The main principal of all activities at A.K.S. with its 70 technical and administrative personnel experienced in their line of business is; constant and increasing customer satisfaction.
